my work at SQRT3

I've joined the SQRT3 team in September of 2021 and have been a part of 16 published games, as well as 4 more still in development. My work has mostly revolved around key arts, icons, logos and marketing materials as well as character design, storyboarding and feedbacking character work.

    Since summer of 2023 I have been promoted to Marketing Lead. On top of what I've already been doing, my responsibilities expanded to taking care of our marketing materials: I manage the deadlines and feedback the team putting them together, as well as keep in touch with our publishers, making sure all communication is transparent and quick.

All images on this page belong to SQRT3 and GameHouse and had been made public prior to being uploaded here. You can find the published games on Google Play, App Store, or Steam. Many of the materials are being published on SQRT3's and GameHouse Original Stories' Facebook pages as well :)

Scarlet's Haunted Hotel

A very exciting project - once again I got to design an entirely new artstyle for the in-game models & establish a new character style! The darker victorian themes were a nice change as well. I worked on main characters, game icons, key art and logo, as well as feedbacking remaining character concepts and polishing & manage the marketing materials creation and deadlines.

Delicious: Cooking and Romance & Mansion Mystery

In Cooking & Romance I wasn't a part of the concept team, but later on I got to improve the assets and repaint them with a new style more akin to the one established in the Delicious franchise. I did the same with the in-game models, went over everything in my field of expertise to make sure the artwork was cohesive. I got to design and polish the game icons, logo, some elements of the UI, storyboard and manage/help polish illustrations and movies, manage the marketing materials creation and deadlines.

For Mansion Mystery I came back for concepts and some character redesigns, as well as key art, game icons, logo, storyboarding, feedbacking and UI elements.

Secret Diaries: Manage a Manor & Royal Wedding

For Manage a Manor I'd been lucky to have a much bigger role in it compared to previous games: I've created a new artstyle for characters as well as new artstyle for marketing and designed all in-game characters! I got to design and polish the logo, game icons and key art as well. I was additionally responsible for all promo pieces and storyboarding game intro and outro, which I then finished with our team.

In Royal Wedding I similarly got to design new characters, create the key art, game icons, loading screen and some elements of the UI but also a new version of the logo. Again I storyboarded the game intro and outro, looked over their polishing process, and concepted in-game illustrations, watching over their polishing.

Elena's Journal: Unfinished Expedition & To Atlantis

Unfinished Expedition was my first project in the company! I did some generalist stuff before being tasked with the big guns of marketing - key art, game icons, marketing characters and in-game movie characters. Later on I storyboarded and helped finish an ad.

For To Atlantis I once again got to create the key art, game icons, as well as storyboard the movies, feedback character work and finish half of my marketing character concepts. On top of that, I managed the marketing materials process.

Arcane Arts: Magic Management & Sorcerer's Quest

In Magic Management I worked on the key art, game icons and logo improvements as well as promotional illustrations (Halloween, Mother's Day), character wor and some minor generalist tasks.

In Sorcerer's Quest I yet again got to work on key art, game icons, logo improvements as well as storyboards for in-game movies and feedbacking/overseeing the polishing process from the team. I've also managed the marketing materials creation process and delivery to our publishers.

Undercover: Blood Bonds & Secret Management

In Blood Bonds I worked on the key art, logo and icons in both the conceptual and polishing stage. I created the marketing characters as well as the characters for game intro and outro, based on my coworker's storyboard.
In Secret Management I took part mostly in the conceptual aspect of the game, where I have created concepts for the key art, game icons as well as the marketing characters and storyboarded the game intro and outro. The polishing was done by another artist within the company. I provided my feedback as well as managed the creation of marketing materials and their deadlines with the publishers.

Primrose Lake 3, 4, 5

In this project my input was mainly in the marketing department.

For Primrose Lake 3 I got to design and polish the key art, game icons and marketing characters as well as some promotional images and characters.

For Primrose Lake 4 I made concept for the key art, afterwards focusing on feedbacking character work and managing marketing materials.

For Primrose Lake 5 I storyboarded in-game cinematics and gave feedback to the polishing team, as well as managed the marketing materials and their deadlines.

Barbarous: 2 & Family Secrets

Barbarous 2 came out shortly after I joined the company, but I did get to create this holiday illustration for SQRT's facebook page. In Barbarous 3 I storyboarded in-game videos and provided feedback and improvements of the key art and promotional images, as well as managed the marketing materials creation.
